Florence L. Lundgren, 92, of Lansdale, died Monday, April 23, 2012 at her residence. She was the wife of the late John W. Lundgren.

Born March 19, 1920 in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Devery) Gers.

Mrs. Lundgren was a lifelong hairdresser and owned and operated her own beauty salon until her retirement in 2000. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Lansdale, and she enjoyed playing cards, gardening, and traveling.

She is survived by two daughters, Mary Ellen Gallagher of Lansdale, and Florence E. Shive and husband Norman of Sellersville; her brother, Peter H. Gers and wife Bettye of Ambler; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Interment will be private in Montgomery Baptist Cemetery.
