Arthur R. Walter, Sr.

Arthur R. Walter, Sr., 83, of Sellersville, PA passed away peacefully at his home on November 17, 2018. He was the beloved husband of 63 years to Jeanette E. (nee Hartman) Walter, with whom he was united in marriage on July 2, 1955. Born November 14, 1935 in Souderton, PA he was the son of the late Stanley and the late Ruth (nee Rickert) Walter.

Arthur was the founder, owner, and operator of Arthur R. Walter & Son Plastering Contractors, Inc., of Sellersville, PA which he established in 1965. He was a member of the Fan Tail Rod & Gun Club, the Souderton-Harleysville Fish, Game, & Forestry Association, and the Great Swamp Fish, Game, & Forestry Association. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, riding motorcycles, but most of all spending time with his family, and he will always be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle.

In addition to his wife, he is also survived by his children, Arthur R. Walter, Jr. (Cherie), of Sellersville, PA and Pamala King, of Sellersville, PA, his grandchildren, Jennifer Ryan (Kevin), Heather King, and Adam King (Eileen), his great-grandchildren, Connor Ryan, Gavin Ryan, and Addison King, and his many siblings and their families.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Monday morning, November 26, 2018 from 9:30-11:00 AM at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Avenue, Lansdale, PA 19446 where his Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Plymouth Meeting, PA

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to St. Andrew's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 20 Dill Avenue, Perkasie, PA 18944 or to the Parkinson's Foundation, 200 SE 1 ^st Avenue, Suite 800, Miami, FL 33131, and which would be deeply appreciated by his family.
