Alexander J. Taylor, Jr.

Alexander "Alex" J. Taylor, Jr. 77, of Lansdale, died August 30, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Nancy L. Taylor who died August 22, 2021.

Born May 31, 1947, in Norristown, he was the son of the late Alexander J. Taylor, Sr and Marion (Rothenberger) Taylor.

Alex was employed as a tool and die maker for many years. He enjoyed using his hands while working with wood and furniture making. He was a long-time member of the Volunteer Medical Service Corp in his younger years. Alex will be remembered for making friends easily at Elm Terrace Gardens where he enjoyed playing cards and other games.

Survivors include his sons Michael A (Cathy) Taylor, and Marc A. (Julie) Taylor both of North Wales; four grandchildren, Jackie, Brad, Joshua and Jon; one great-grandchild, Peyton. He is preceded in death by a brother, Daniel C. Taylor.

Relatives and friends may call 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday, September 5, 2024, at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale, PA 19446. There will be an additional viewing on Friday, September 6, 2024, beginning 10:00 am at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 am. Burial will be at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, 1169 Limekiln Pike, Ambler.
