Anna "Anne" June Haines

Anna "Anne" June Haines, 87, of Harleysville, passed away on Sunday March 30, 2025 at her home after a long illness.

Born in Philadelphia and raised in Germantown, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Bertha (Engedy) Haines.

Anna June was an active member of St. John's UCC Church in Lansdale for over 40 years, where she was a leader of many groups and helped out with Manna on Main Street. She received her nursing certificate from Abington Nursing School and worked for North Penn Visiting Nursing and Grandview Hospice. Anna June was an avid reader, amazing chef and loved traveling, shopping for antiques, and the ocean.

Surviving are children Michelle Scott, wife of Paul, Pamela Jane, Lisa Flaherty, wife of Patrick, Raymond Grucella, Robert Grucella, husband of Mary, and Matthew Grucella; sister Elizabeth Gudebski, 20 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Along with her parents, she is predeceased by her daughter Michelle Leigh Grucella; brother Walter Haines Jr.; and sister Bertha Haines.

Visitation will be Friday, April 4, from 10:00AM to 10:45AM at St. John's  UCC Church, 500 W Main St, Lansdale, PA 19446 with a memorial service at 11:00AM. Burial will be private and at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anna's name to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
