Anna Marie Hutchinson

November 9, 1949 - September 17, 2026

Anna Marie Hutchinson, 76, of Lansdale, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully in her home on the evening of September 17, 2026. In accordance with the family’s wishes, no public service will be held. A private gathering, for immediate family, will take place at a later time.

Born in Sea Isle City, New Jersey, on November 9, 1949, Anna Marie graduated from Archbishop Kennedy High School (formerly St. Matthew’s) in 1968. Professionally, Anna Marie was best known as a Longaberger Basket Sales Associate. Anyone that knew Anna Marie knew she loved two things: her family and her baskets. Anna Marie was married to the love of her life Bob (Robert) for 53 years. They began their life together in a small row home in Ambler, PA directly across the street from Anna Marie’s parents. A few years later, they moved to their forever home in Lansdale. Together Anna Marie and Bob had three children with their middle child, Robert, passing away six weeks after birth.

As her children grew up, Anna Marie was heavily involved in each of their classrooms at Corpus Christi, Lansdale Catholic, and Gwynedd Mercy as a homeroom mother, parent volunteer, field day coordinator, lunch monitor, bingo leader, event coordinator, and much more. Her presence extended beyond the classroom to their extra curricular activities including the boy scouts, girl scouts, church, dance, and their many sporting events. Not once in their 48 years living in their home in Lansdale were cars ever parked in their garage. However, the garage was home to boy scout luminaries and Christmas wreaths as well as girl scout cookies, newspapers, camping equipment, pool toys, and every piece of sports equipment you could imagine. Later in life, Anna Marie was blessed with three grandchildren. She found great joy in being a ‘Mom Mom’ and spending time watching each of them grow up. Anna Marie will be remembered for her relentless love of her family and her fierce determination to provide her family with anything they ever needed.

Anna Marie was preceded in death by her father and mother, William and Theresa Sherman and her child Robert William Hutchinson. She is survived by her husband Robert Hutchinson, son John Hutchinson (Bridget), daughter Theresa Hutchinson-Niemeier (Douglas), three grandchildren: Morgan, Reese, Edward, brother John Sherman (Susan), and three nephews Timothy, Stephen, and William.

In lieu of flowers or cards, the family requests donations to Corpus Christi Catholic School, where her children attended grade school and Anna Marie volunteered for many years, or The American Lung Association.
