Anna Marie O’Reilly, 97, a resident of Normandy Farms Estates in Blue Bell and formerly of Towamencin Township, died Sunday, August 2, 2026. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles J. O’Reilly, who died February 7, 2014, and devoted mother to her ten children.
Born August 5, 1928 in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late James and Anna Mary (Carrabine) Callaghan.
Mrs. O’Reilly was a longtime, dedicated parishioner of Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Lansdale, where she was active with the Prayer Line and was a spiritual advisor to her family and friends. A 1947 graduate of Little Flower High School, she was a skilled seamstress and avid reader.
Faith and family were paramount for Anna Marie. She loved her family history and Irish heritage. She also enjoyed vacationing with family, especially at the Jersey Shore and in Florida.
Survivors include her children, Charles M. “Buddy” O’Reilly (Eileen) of Tampa, FL, Joseph J. O’Reilly (Joann Dietrich) of Lower Gwynedd, Anna Marie Welsh (Bob) of Lansdale, Sara O. Hogan (Terry) of Jamison, PA, Teresa “Terry” McMahon (Edward) of Doylestown, John P. “Jack” O’Reilly of Perkasie, Edward J. “Ted” O’Reilly (Joanne) of Coopersburg, Mary O. Cirrinicione (Peter) of Cape May, NJ, Robert M. “Bobby” O’Reilly (Mette) of Doylestown, and Christopher F. “Chris” O’Reilly (Jennifer) of Lansdale; 21 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a large extended family.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Allen; two sisters, Margaret and Marcella; and four brothers, John, Thomas, Francis, and James.
A viewing will be held between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. August 13, 2026 at Corpus Christi Church, 900 Sumneytown Pike, Lansdale, PA 19446. A second viewing will begin 9:30 a.m. August 14 at church followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Philadelphia. Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in Anna Marie’s memory to Corpus Christi Church, address above, or to the St. Padre Pio Shrine, PO Box 203, Landisville, NJ 08326.
