Anna Mae Whiteside, 88, of Harleysville, died Sunday, September 14, 2025. She was the wife of the late Joseph S. Whiteside, Jr., who died January 18, 2015.
Born July 10, 1937 in Roslyn, PA, she was a daughter of the late Marion (Craig) and Frederick Osgood, Sr.
Mrs. Whiteside was a longtime member of Bethel Baptist Church, Sellersville, and Bible Baptist Church, Quakertown. After raising her family, she was employed as a teller at Harleysville National Bank for many years. She had many hobbies, including gardening, baking, quilting, scrapbooking, and antique cars.
Ann was a dedicated prison volunteer where she taught reading and the Bible. She also loved hosting tea parties with her granddaughters.
Survivors include her children, Joseph S. Whiteside III of Sugar Grove, IL, and Kimberly Braccia (Domenick) of Fort Washington; five grandchildren, Elizabeth (Michael), Domenick (Reena), Sebastian, Alexander, and Mel (Dante); three great-grandchildren, Michael, Noah, and Remy; two brothers, Frederick Osgood, Jr. (Jimmy Luttrell) of Norfolk, VA, and Thomas Osgood (Joan Ann) of New Jersey; and her sister, Pattie Osgood of Huntingdon, PA.
Relatives and friends may call after 12:30 p.m. Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., followed by the Funeral Service at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
