Anne T. Burns

Anne T. Burns, 83, of Lansdale, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2026. She was the loving wife of the late Edward Burns, Sr.

Born December 31, 1942 in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Emil and Anna (Bednarik) Bologa.

An excellent cook, Anne took pride in preparing delicious dishes that brought her family and friends together. She was a huge Philadelphia Phillies fan who never missed the chance to cheer on her team. Anne especially treasured time spent with her husband – whether on lively bus trips to the casinos or on relaxing cruises. Those adventures created lasting memories of laughter, companionship and excitement of shared experiences.

She is survived by her sons, Kevin Burns (Beth) of Plymouth Meeting, Edward Burns, Jr. (Catherine) of Hamilton, NJ, James Burns (Sheri) of Souderton; her grandchildren, Jonathan, Brian, Caitlyn, Julia, Evan, Rachel (Matt), Kyle; her great-grandson, Bodie; her siblings, Marie Lapps, Robert Bologa; and her beloved niece, Katie Wert (Eric).

Relatives and friends may attend a Reception of Friends and Family between 1:00 and 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 28, 2026 at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Avenue, Lansdale, PA 19446.
