Brooke H. Clemens

Brooke H. Clemens, 82, wife of Paul H. Clemens, passed away peacefully at home on September 3, 2026, surrounded by the family she loved so dearly.

Brooke was born on January 12, 1944, in New Rochelle, New York to the late Lynn and Frances (Bromell) Hyde. She graduated from Quakertown High School in 1961 and went on to build a long and successful career with Merck & Co., where she worked for 31 years. After retiring, Brooke continued to give her time and kindness to others, spending 14 happy years volunteering at Care and Share in Souderton, Pennsylvania.

Brooke was the heart of her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who treasured every opportunity to be part of her children’s lives. She and Paul shared 51 loving years of marriage, building a life filled with love, laughter, hard work and countless family memories.

Brooke is survived by her husband, Paul Clemens; her five children Karen Brown (Jeff), Kirk Clemens (Julia), Sherri Croftcheck (Michael), Stacey Clemens, and Denise Uzupis (John); 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; her sister Inez Kondratick and nephew Andy Kondratick. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved son Jeffrey Clemens.

Brooke will be remembered for so many characteristics that made her uniquely special. She was always well-dressed, took great pride in creating personalized Christmas bags for the girls, and never met a flower that she didn’t find beautiful.

Even through the years of Brooke’s infirmity, you never heard her complain. She faced each day with a smile on her face and laughter in her heart. Though she will be deeply missed, her strength, kindness, sense of humor, and unwavering love for her family and friends will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Celebration of life will be held privately.
