Carol R. Bailey, 69, of Hatfield, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2020.  She was the beloved wife of Jim Bailey.  They were married for 47 blessed years.

Born November 26, 1950 in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Donald W. and Ruth R. (Bullock) Garrett.

Carol was a graduate of Northeastern Christian Jr. College and Harding University with a BA in Psychology.  Her life was dedicated to serving others.  She volunteered with the ladies auxiliary at Northeastern Christian and coordinated their annual Country Fair.  For more than 40 years, Carol volunteered her talents to serve Camp Manatawny where she coordinated rentals, the food service, and was chief cook in the camp kitchen.  Carol also served on the Camp Board of Directors.

She was a longtime member of the North Penn Church of Christ, North Wales, PA; and was a tireless volunteer, teacher, and servant.  A dedicated and loving homemaker, Carol will be remembered for her gracious hospitality and for being the "Hostess with the Mostess."

In addition to her husband Jim, she is survived by two daughters: Allison Gladfelter, husband Nico and their two daughters, Paige and Brooke of Brick, NJ; Lauren Popeck, husband Nick and their two children Cameron and Lyla of Longwood, FL.  She is also survived by her brother Bill Garrett of Belleville, PA, sister Donna Lawson (Bob) of Lebanon, TN, and brother Dave Garrett (Brenda) of Souderton, PA.  In addition, she was the beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews.

There will be a private family viewing at the Huff and Lakjer Funeral Home in Lansdale, PA.

A memorial service and celebration of Carol's life will be Sunday, September 27 at 5:00 p.m.at the North Penn Church of Christ.  Due to COVID-19 restrictions, in-person attendance at the memorial will be limited to North Penn church members.  The memorial service will be livestreamed and also posted on the church YouTube channel, www.northpennchurchofchrist.org .

Interment will be private at the Spring Grove (PA) Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in Carol's memory to Camp

Manatawny, 33 Camp Road, Douglassville, PA 19518.

Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
