Caroline (Detwiler) Galbreath, 80, of Jamison, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at her home.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Rita (Faulkner) Detwiler.
She liked traveling all over the world, from Ireland to Laguna Beach. Some of her favorite spots were Tucson, AZ, where she lived and worked for a decade; Italy; and Ocean City, NJ. She liked movies, good food, and spending time with friends. She also enjoyed music, especially Bruce Springsteen, and she was a very early member of the Julio Iglesias fan club. She was a fan of all Philadelphia sports teams, especially the Flyers. Through her niece and nephew, she learned about the sport of rowing, and spent several years volunteering at regattas on the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia. She was generous, caring, and a person who showed up for her friends and family.
Surviving is her brother James F. Detwiler; nephews Justin Detwiler, husband of Susan; and John Detwiler, husband of Julia; niece Jane Detwiler; great nephew Ryan and great niece Katie.
The family will welcome friends on Saturday, January 3, 2026, from 2:30PM to 4:00PM at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale.
