Carolyn M. Hromek

Carolyn M. Hromek, 89, passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2024.  She was the loving wife of the late William J. Hromek.  For the last couple of years Carolyn has resided in Lansdale, but for most of her life she lived in the Binghamton, New York area.

Born March 9, 1935, in Binghamton, NY, she was the daughter of the late William and Rose (Cleary) Krause.

Carolyn was a dedicated telephone operator with the New York Bell Telephone Company where she worked for over 25 years.  She found joy in the beauty of flowers, and she loved music, as the melodies filled her heart.

She was an exceptional wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  She cherished her family above all else.

Carolyn is survived by her children, Diane Weisslender (Mark) of New Haven, CT, Sharon Kimmel (Jon) of Ivyland, PA, Michele Foulke (Bryan) of Souderton, PA, and Brian Pickert (Marcy) of Troy, NY; ten grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends may call after 1:30 p.m. Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Elm Terrace Gardens, 660 N. Broad St., Lansdale, PA, followed by the Prayer Service at 2:00 p.m.  Burial will be private in Vestal Hills Memorial Park, Vestal, NY.
