Charles W. Goens

Charles W. Goens (Bill), 82, of Souderton, husband of Linda T. (Tyson) Goens, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2025 at his home.

Born in Roanoke, VA, he was the son of the late Charlie W. Goens, Mary E. Goens (step mother),  and Agatha F. Hall.

Bill was a US Navy veteran who served as a radio operator. He graduated from the now University of Maryland, Baltimore in 1970. He and his wife owned and operated Gardeners Market in Gardners, PA for 27 years. He also served as Vice President of Zeigler Brothers in Gardeners for approximately 10 years. In his later years he enjoyed playing bridge with his friends.

Surviving with his wife is daughter Catherine Goens; sisters Barbara Hall and Linda Crowder; grandsons Nicolas and Chase Causerano; and numerous nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers Walter (Bubba) and John Goens; and sister Betty Humphrey.

Services and interment are private.
