Deborah Krail

Deborah Lynn Krail, age 76, of Hatfield, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.

Born on November 23, 1949, in Lansdale, PA, Debbie was the only child of Laura Catherine (Emmert) and A. Herbert Crouthamel. She grew up in Lansdale and later made Hatfield her home for more than 40 years.

Debbie graduated from North Penn High School with the Class of 1967 and continued her education at Wesley College in Dover, Delaware.

She will be remembered for her unwavering devotion to her family and her deep faith in the Lord. A proud and lifelong member of Saint John's United Church of Christ in Lansdale, Debbie found great comfort and purpose in her church community. She and James (Jim)

Krail were married on May 9, 1970 and had five children. She dedicated her life to ensuring that her children David, Scott, Julie, Kevin, and Kristen were surrounded with love, support and opportunity.

Debbie cherished her role as "Nana" to her nine beloved grandchildren: Kailyn, Anna, Chelsea, Greta, Colin, Ryan, Izzy, James, and Quinn. Her gentle spirit and boundless affection will live on in each of them.

She was preceded in heaven by her son David, with whom she is now reunited.

Debbie's presence, warmth, and joyful spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025, at Saint John's United Church of Christ in Lansdale.  The visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. followed by the Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m.  Burial will be private.  Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.

Debbie's family extends heartfelt gratitude to all who loved, supported, and prayed with her throughout her life. She will forever remain in our hearts.
