Dolores E. Kokinda

Dolores E. Kokinda, 84, of Lansdale, passed away at home surrounded by family on June 18, 2026.

She was born on October 2, 1941 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Luther and Eleanor (Poultney) Johnson.

Dolores met her husband, Carl Kokinda, while working at McNeil Pharmaceuticals and they enjoyed almost 50 years of marriage prior to his death in 2013.

Dolores was an avid gardener who also enjoyed crocheting, watching game shows, shopping and country music. In addition to enjoying eating good food, she always had a cup of coffee, whether hot or iced. She loved everything about Elvis Presley, especially his classic and gospel songs.

She was known as an extremely selfless and compassionate woman who was also very funny. Dolores was extremely family oriented and loved hosting family gatherings at her home. One of her greatest joys was being a homemaker after her daughter, Lynn, was born. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters, Samantha and Haley, especially on their many road trips together.

Dolores is survived by her daughter, Lynn Snyder; son, Kevin Kokinda; and two granddaughters, Samantha Mosley and Haley Snyder; and her beloved dog, Honey Bun.

Relatives and friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 25, 2026 at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale, followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Christ Lutheran Church Cemetery.
