Donald A. Filson

Donald A. Filson, 65, of Schwenksville, PA, passed away Thursday, September 4, 2025, at his residence.

He was the loving husband of Janet (Davis) Filson.

Born August 12, 1960, he was a son of the late George A. and Anne Marie (McCallum) Filson.

Donald honorably served his country in the United States Coast Guard.  He also worked as a nursing educator for over 20 years.

Throughout his life, he enjoyed getting lost in the pages of a good book, taking in the serenity of the beach, and watching his favorite Philadelphia sports teams.  He will be remembered as a devoted husband and father.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Ryan Filson; his daughter, Kelly Aiken, and husband Mike; and his two brothers, Charles and Gary.

Donald is preceded in death by his brothers, George, Walter, William, and Robert.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
