Donald L. Moon

Donald L. Moon, 85, of Gwynedd, passed away on July 31, 2023. He was the loving husband of Carolyn R. Moon. Donald was a son of the late Orval E. and Ethel Mae Moon.

Mr. Moon enjoyed woodworking and making scale models of early 17th century British ships. He was a pastoral minister in the Quaker Church, Clerk of the American Section Friends World Committee for Consultation, and CEO of Foulkeways Continuing Care Community at Gwynedd. He also was the founder of Friends Life Care, for which he was inducted into the Leading Age Hall of Fame.

Along with his wife Donald is survived by his children: Sara Moon Kraeski, Richard D. Moon (Lynn M.); grandchildren: Joshua J. Moon, Erin M. Moon, Kyle R. Moon, and Anna C. Kraeski.

Friends and family are invited to a memorial service August 26, 2023, 2:00 p.m., at Foulkeways at Gwynedd 1120 Meetinghouse Road, Gwynedd, PA 19436.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Donald's memory to the Foulkeways Resident Assistance Fund or to Gwynedd Friends Meeting – Family Promise Fund.
