Donna J. Benner, 55, of Telford, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2013 after a seven month battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of Arlin A. Benner, her husband of 33 years.
Born February 12, 1958 in Sellersville, she was a daughter of Ada R. (Swartley) Mininger, of Souderton, and the late Dr. Vernon Nice Mininger.
Donna graduated from Christopher Dock Mennonite High School in 1976. She earned her Associate Degree in Fine Arts from Montgomery County Community College in 1978 and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Kutztown University in 1980.
Donna was employed as a Graphic Artist with Bergey's, Inc., Franconia, since 2001. Previously, she worked with Hunsicker's Pharmacy, Souderton, Mininger Meats, Hatfield, and Mirror Image Studios, Lederach.
Donna was a dedicated member of Finland Mennonite Church where she was actively involved in youth ministries. She was known for her beautiful smile and genuine concern for others and will be remembered as a devoted wife and mother.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her children, Nathan J. Benner, of Telford, and Alyssa N. Benner and her fiancé, Dana B. Halteman, of Telford; and sister, Elaine S. Mininger, also of Telford.
Relatives and friends may call between 4:00 and 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at Franconia Mennonite Church, 613 Harleysville Pike, Telford, followed by the Funeral Service at 7:30 p.m. Burial will be private in Finland Mennonite Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
