Dorothy J. Semon

Dorothy J. Semon, 92, of Sellersville, PA and formerly of Lansdale, PA, died Tuesday, September 8, 2026. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul R. Semon, her husband of 68 years, who died July 30, 2026.

Born October 12, 1933 in Parkersburg, WV, she was the daughter of the late James and Zola (Hickel) Morehead.

Mrs. Semon was employed as an underwriter in the insurance industry for many years. She was a longtime member of Sanctuary United Methodist Church, North Wales.

Dorothy enjoyed traveling and will be remembered for her dedication to her family. She especially enjoyed family dinners and holidays.

Survivors include her children, Jeffrey Semon (Irene) of Towamencin Township, and Judith McGuriman of Hatfield; seven grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Terry L. Semon; and infant brother, Paul.

Relatives and friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at the Wayside Chapel of Whitemarsh Memorial Park, 1169 Limekiln Pike, Ambler, PA followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in the adjacent cemetery. Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale, PA.
