Edgar M. Frymoyer

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edgar Frymoyer, who died peacefully at home early in the morning on August 12, 2026, surrounded by his dedicated staff. He was a man whose infectious smile, laughter, and playful joking brought constant joy to everyone around him. Edgar was a deeply loving family man and a loyal friend who spent his life looking for ways to help others, especially his housemates and neighbors. He held an extra special place in his heart for his beloved daughter, Margaret, whom he cherished above all else. 

Edgar found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was a passionate animal lover with a lifelong fondness for horses. In the kitchen, he loved to cook and share meals with those around him. He also possessed a creative, generous spirit, spending hours coloring beautiful pictures just to gift them to friends and family to hang on their walls. He was rarely seen without his favorite cup of coffee in hand. 

Guided by a deep faith, Edgar’s favorite Bible verse was John 3:16, and his favorite hymn was "Amazing Grace." He was a bright light in our lives, and he will be profoundly missed by his family, friends, housemates, and the staff who cherished him. 

Services will be held on August 20th at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, located at 701 Derstine Ave, Lansdale, PA 19446. A visitation period will take place from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM, followed immediately by the memorial service at 1:30 PM.
