Edward L. Cossman

Edward L. Cossman, 89, of Hatfield, PA, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at Grand View Hospital.

He was the loving husband of Sophia (Gallagher) Cossman.

Born August 30, 1935, he was a son of the late William and Ida (Maire) Cossman.

He served his country honorably in the United States Air Force.

Edward was a member of the Nockamixon Yacht Club and the SunnyBrook Ballroom Dance Club.  He found great joy in sailing and fishing, spending many happy hours on the water.  His greatest treasure in life was his family, and he cherished every moment that he spent with them.

He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather that known for his infectious sense of humor, his gift for lively conversation, and his loving generosity.

In addition to his wife, Edward is survived by his two sons, Eamon Cossman, and Charles Cossman (Bonnie); his three daughters, Margaret Cossman, Sophia Alletto (Phil), and Marie Ward; his grandchildren, Danielle, Shauna, James, Catriona, Daniel, Kirsten, Theresa, Jonathan, Luke, and Michael; his great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Elizabeth, Colton, Noah, and Sophia; and his sister, Agnes.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his two brothers, Paul and William; and his three sisters, Eda, Cecile, and Anna Mae.

Services will be held privately per Ed's wishes.

Arrangements are entrusted to Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
