Edward Jos. Feighan

Edward Joseph Feighan, 83, of Lansdale, passed away on January 4, 2025. He was the loving father of Michael (Jill) Feighan and Kelly Feighan, the former spouse of Carol Feighan, and long-time partner of Jeanette White. Additional survivors include his grandchildren, Julia and Oliver Feighan; and many nieces and nephews.

Born in Philadelphia in 1941 to the late Joseph Aloysius and Mary (McIlmail) Feighan, Edward was also predeceased by siblings Joseph A., John, Sister Maria Josita, and Francis, who died in childhood.

A graduate of Father Judge High School and proud member of the Local 5 chapter of the International Union of Elevator Constructors, Edward found fellowship and laughs for many years with other members of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles in Lansdale, PA.

Edward cared deeply about Irish reunification, loved Irish music, and traveled many times to Ireland with friends and family. His sense of direction and ability to calculate numbers in his head were unparalleled, and his interests earlier in life included golf and beating competitors at logic puzzles and other games. On his final day, he experienced the satisfaction of contributing three aces to a rummy game with his daughter.

The family will receive friends starting at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 9, 2025 at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Avenue in Lansdale, PA 19446 with a Celebration of Life at 10:30 a.m. Following the service there will be an interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 3301 W. Cheltenham Avenue, PA 19150.
