Edward G. Kassin

Edward G. "Pop" Kassin, 89, of Lansdale, died Friday, February 17, 2023.  He was the beloved husband of the late Marjorie (Fluck) Kassin, who died January 23, 2013.

Born April 25, 1933 in Detroit and raised in Hessel, MI on the UP as a "Yooper," he was a son of the late Rudolph and Belle Kassin.

Pop was employed as a truck driver for many years and was a proud veteran of the US Navy.  He was an avid pool shooter and beer drinker, especially Rolling Rock.  He also loved riding his motorcycle and supporting various veteran's establishments.

Survivors include his children, Debbie Fritz (late Chuck) of Perkasie, Linda Mullaly (Jim) of Huntley, IL, Laurie A. Styles (George) of Sellersville, Russell Kassin, and Dale Kassin; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sons, Leonard and David; and one daughter, Sharon.

Interment will be private in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.  Details for a public memorial service will be announced at a later date.

Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
