Eleanor M. Purvis

Eleanor M. Purvis, 90, of Lansdale, died Sunday, August 10, 2025.  She was the wife of the late William F. Purvis, who died May 13, 2011.

Born September 20, 1934 in Ambler, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Virginia (Durkin) Macauley.

Survivors include her sons, William A. Purvis (Mary) of Green Lane, and Richard G. Purvis of Lansdale; her grandchildren, Virginia Wilcher (Stephen), Angela Broderick (David), William Purvis (Erin); great-grandchildren, Colin Wilcher, Morgan Wilcher, Jaxson Broderick, Kinley Broderick, Landon Broderick; a brother, Richard Macauley of Cape Coral, FL; and her extended family.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Arthur Macauley, Jr.

Graveside services will be held privately in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Ambler.  Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
