Elva J. Keenan

Elva J. (Dunn) Keenan, 88, of Lansdale, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, January 5, 2025.

She was the loving wife of Francis Keenan.

Born August 6, 1936, she was a daughter of the late William and Jenny (Hill) Dunn.

Elva was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, and Nana.  She will be remembered for her resilience and strength, capacity to love, and her infectious laugh.

She was the neighborhood mom to her children's friends, the ice hockey, soccer, softball and baseball mom, the taxi driver, and the open all night diner. Her family was her life.

Her door was always open to anyone. Elva always made the people around her feel like lifelong friends. She will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 68 years, Francis Keenan, four adoring children; Jeffrey Keenan (Lori-Ann), Glenn Keenan (Rachel), Donna Talis (Dave), and Lisa Jackson (James), 8 grandchildren: Morgan Wittenberg (Rob), Chelsey Keenan, Nicholas Keenan, Jake Keenan, Joseph Keenan, Zachary Talis, Katie Talis, and James Boylan, one great- grandson: Ben Wittenberg, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, William Dunn.

The family will receive visitors Saturday, February 1, 2025 1:00 PM at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Avenue, Lansdale, PA 19446.  A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM.  A time of food and fellowship will immediately follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to; The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Rye Brook, NY, or to; Living Branches Senior Living, 275 Dock Drive
Lansdale, PA 19446.
