Emilia Eakins

Emilia Eakins, 99, of Sellersville, PA, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2024, at The Community at Rockhill.

She was the loving wife of David Eakins.

Born February 24, 1925, she was a daughter of the late John and Florica (Campean) Muresan.

Emilia and her husband had lived in Florida for fifteen years before moving to Sellersville.  There, they enjoyed golfing with one another almost every day.  Now and then, the two of them would travel to Biloxi, Mississippi, where Emilia would play her favorite slot machines at the casino.

What brought Emilia the most joy in life was her family.  She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother that was loving towards all.

In addition to her husband, Emilia is survived by her daughter, Gloria Goldschmidt; her grandchildren, Bryan, Stephen, and Lauren; her three great-grandchildren; and her nieces, Rodica and Lia.

She is preceded in death by her three sisters, Mary, Livia, and Olivia; and her brother John.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are entrusted to Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
