Erren Gayle MacKinstry

Erren Gayle MacKinstry of Lansdale passed away peacefully on June 10,2026, at Abington Jefferson Hospial.

Born on May 12, 1968, she was the daughter of the late Jean MacKinstry Rogers and Wallace MacKinstry. Erren grew up in Lansdale and graduated from North Penn High School in 1986, where she proudly participated as a member of the North Penn Marching Knights. Shortly after graduation, she enlisted in the United States Army/Army Reserves


In September 1988, Erren welcomed her beloved son, Paul Hagerty IV. She shared a special bond with Paul and carried the profound loss of his passing in 2021 throughout the remainder of her life.


Erren cherished her many friendships and enjoyed spending time with those she loved, as well as with her sweet cats. She loved spending time at the beach and skipping rocks at nearby creeks . Despite facing the challenges of Steinert’s Muscular Dystrophy, a condition that also affected her father and two of her siblings, she remained resilient and appreciated every day .Erren was preceded in death by her father, Wallace MacKinstry (1986); her mother, Jean MacKinstry Rogers (2023); her son, Paul Hagerty IV (2021); her sister, Ashley Guest (1997); her nephew, Kristopher Guest (1997); and her brother, Kier MacKinstry (2010).She is survived by her sister, Raine MacKinstry Fussner and her husband, Jeff, of Kempton; her sister, Judy Blackledge of Lansdale;Special niece Nikki Frazier; her brother, Steven Haug and his wife, Peggy, of San Diego, California; and ten nieces and nephews and 6 great nieces and great nephews who will cherish her memory.Erren will be remembered for her love for family and friends, her strength in the face of adversity, and the kindness she shared with those fortunate enough to know her.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made in Erren's memory to Muscular Dystrophy Association

A graveside service will be held on Thursday July 2, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, 1169 Limekiln Pike, Ambler, PA 19002.
