Esther L. Foster

Esther L. Foster, 86, of North Wales, died Thursday, December 5, 2024.  She was the beloved wife of Donald L. Foster, her husband of 68 years.

Born October 5, 1938 in Kulpsville, she was a daughter of the late Titus and Viola (Schueck) Detweiler.

Mrs. Foster was a longtime member of Faith Bible Fellowship Church, Harleysville.  She was employed in retail for many years.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Wanda Foster (Stu) of Maryland, Brenda Foster Abrams (Cyril) of Jacksonville, NC, Donald Foster (Barbara) of Perkasie, and Dale Foster (Marylou) of Hatfield; 21 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Naomi Lewis (Bill) of Sellersville, and Mary Ann Metzger of Mohrsville, PA.

She was preceded in death by an infant son, Brian David Foster; daughter, Donna Long; seven brothers; and two sisters.

Relatives and friends may call after 10:00 a.m. January 3, 2025 at Faith Bible Fellowship Church, 140 Harleysville Pike, Harleysville, PA 19438 followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will be in Franconia Mennonite Cemetery.  Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
