G. Jeffrey Parris, 74, of Schwenksville, passed away peacefully in his home on Monday, April 28, 2025, knowing the love of his friends and family. He was the husband of the late Teresa Parris, his loving wife, who died January 2, 2025.
Born January 26, 1951 in Lansdowne, he was a son of the late Jean Haslam MacDonough and Howard Andrew Parris, Jr.
He was a proud graduate of Penn State University, cheering on the Nittany Lions faithfully. He worked for Fluor Engineering and Construction Firm in Texas, Drexelbrook Engineering Firm in Horsham PA, and ended his career at Penn Color in Hatfield, PA.
From the very start, Jeff was an adventurer at heart, always eager to embrace new experiences. Early in his Human Resources career, he left Pennsylvania and lived in diverse places like Indonesia, Texas, and California. His spirit of exploration continued as he traveled with his wife, step-daughters, and friends—enjoying cruises, vacation time shares, and house rentals across the country. He cherished European getaways, extended family trips, and especially his beloved home away from home, Cabo San Lucas.
Jeff's passion for travel was more than a hobby -- it was a way of life. Whether exploring little side streets in Europe, relaxing at his time share in Mexico, or gathering with loved ones for a family vacation, he found joy in the moments. One of his favorite parts of traveling was discovering new food. He loved exploring the variety of local cuisines and took great pleasure in reading menus posted in restaurant windows—carefully selecting just the right place for everyone to try. His journeys were marked not just by the places he visited, but by the memories he created and the people he shared them with.
Jeff leaves behind his two step-daughters, Angie Bell (George) of Souderton, and Deb Dohmann (Joseph) of Virginia Beach, VA; four grandchildren, Brayden, Ryan, Alec and Chelsea, five great- grandchildren; his brother, Howard A. "Hap" Parris III (Kathy) of West Chester, PA; and sister, Karen Pawlewicz (Dave) also of West Chester, Nephews and Niece Jody, Chris, Drew, Julie, Matt and Ryan and several great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are private and under the direction of the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in his honor to your favorite charity.
