Gary A. Handel

Gary A. Handel, 71, of North Wales, died Wednesday, July 22, 2026.

Born March 17, 1955 in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late George and Rosalyn (Cutler) Handel.

Gary graduated with the highest of honors in physics from Franklin & Marshall College. He was employed as a project manager for many years with Hughes Aircraft and Computer Science Corporation.

Gary was an active member of Self-Realization Fellowship and devoted much of his time helping other members. He will be remembered as a kind, gentle, and generous soul who was dedicated to his family and friends. Gary was truly loved by many.

Survivors include his brother, David Handel (April) of Vorhees, NJ; sister, Donna Handel of Eagleville; and four nieces and nephews, Laura, Jessica, Michael, and Jonathan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved aunt, Iris Cutler.

Funeral arrangements are private and under the direction of the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
