Gary L. Nemec

Gary L. Nemec, formerly of Hilltown, PA passed away on February 28, 2025, at the age of 78. He was the son of the late Joseph and Ruth (Armstrong) Nemec. Surviving are his three daughters Katie Poust, of Sellersville, Kristine (Travis) Martin of Hilltown and Kelly (Joshua) Florentino of Lansdale who will sorely miss him; six grandchildren, Joseph, Eve, Gavin, Meredith, Julian, and Sophia; two brothers Donald (Charlotte) Nemec; David Nemec and Kandy, his Jack Russell terrier mix.

Those familiar with Gary would know about his sense of humor – it was hard not to smile and laugh right along with him.

In 1966, Gary proudly served for six years in the United States Air Force Reserve. Later, as an owner operator, he traveled the continental United States, creating countless memories on the open road.

A man of many passions, Gary had a love for adventure and creativity. He was an avid sailor, motorcycle enthusiast, and he poured his talents into building and flying ultralight and experimental airplanes. His meticulous craftsmanship extended to radio-controlled helicopters, planes, and sailboats.

He was predeceased by his son-in-law Stephen Poust, granddaughter Lauren Poust, sister-in-law Marge Nemec and his close personal friend Mary Theresa "Terri" Roger.

In accordance with Gary's wishes, no formal services will be held. Those who wish to honor his memory may donate to a charity of their choice in Gary's memory.
