Genevieve E. Aguilar

September 27, 1936 — February 22, 2026

Genevieve E. (Stokes) Aguilar, 89, wife of the late Joseph Aguilar, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2026 at her home.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Joseph I. and Margaret Eastburn (Moore) Stokes.

Genevieve was a long-time member of ST. Martin of Tours in Philadelphia and was a 1954 graduate of Little Flower High School for Girls in Philadelphia. She played Mrs. Claus every year at the Union League and was a former member of The Red Hat Society. She loved to swim as often as possible.

Surviving are her children Michael Aguilar, husband of Denise, Patricia A. Berardinucci, wife of Pete, and Joanne Hause, wife of Chris; grandchildren Michelle Ray, Lauren Aguilar, Christina Berardinucci, Peter Berardinucci Jr., Tara Berardinucci, Connor Hause, Dillon Hause, and Mason Hause; and great grandchildren Joseph, Michael, Logan, Austin, Max, Peter III, Hunter, and soon to join us, Lorenzo.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 28, 2026 from 12:00pm to 12:45pm at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale, with a Memorial Service to begin at 1:00pm.

This is a celebration of her life.  Please feel free to wear spring colors instead of black.
