George H. Hart

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of George H. Hart, who left us on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at the age of 85. George was born on January 10, 1941, to his parents, Victor and Mildred (Bonz) Hart at Grandview Hospital.

He was raised in Perkasie and was a 1958 graduate of Pennridge High School and a 1963 graduate of Arena School of Barbering. On May 25, 1963, he married his wife, Joanne B. (Wolf) Hart. George was employed by Philadelphia Electric Company for 28 years and worked part time at the Silverdale Barber Shop for several years.

Starting as a youngster, and into his senior years, George was always involved with sports such as baseball, bowling, and golf. He loved classical country music, gardening, and woodworking. George was a devoted father to his daughters and pop-pop to his granddaughters.

He is survived by a sister, Barbara Obringer of Red Hill; three daughters, Dianne DiBella (James) of North Wales, Suzanne Schaller (Dennis) of Chalfont, and Marianne Morano (John) of Perkasie; and four grandchildren, Victoria, Violet, Kurt, and Karl.

George is predeceased by his wife, Joanne; his parents, Victor and Mildred; his brothers, Victor and Greg Hart; and his sister, Marlyn Robison.

Services are private and under the arrangements of Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home.
