Gerald W. Howard

Gerald W. Howard, 75, of Lansdale, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2023. He was the loving husband of Barbara W. Howard.

Born August 26, 1947 in Abington, he was the son of the late Gerald and Renee Howard.

Jerry loved his family and was loved by them. He always recalled how he was brought up surrounded by love and couldn't ask for a more ideal childhood. He was a great father, always telling his kids how proud he was and gushing to everyone he met. He adored his grandchildren, cherishing time together and the writings and crafts they sent to him.

As a salesman he connected with people, bonding over the sharing of family stories. He also enjoyed writing and would always send a special message or poem on birthdays and special occasions. An experience he cherished later in life was a trip to Italy with a big family group that gave him many warm memories and stories. He loved to laugh and make people laugh. Being surrounded by loved ones was what was most important to him.

He is greatly missed.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children Andy Howard married to Amy of Culver City, CA, Kim Howard of North Wales; grand-daughters, Sasha and Alice; sister, Joan Kane of Levittown; and nieces and nephews, Nicole, Tara, Brian, Amanda, Breanna and Michaela.

Relatives and friends may call between 10:00 and 11:00 AM Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Huff and Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Avenue, Lansdale, PA 19446, followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in the Whitemarsh Memorial Park, 1169 Limekiln Pike, Ambler, PA 19002.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Cancer Society. Many of his close family members have been taken by cancer.
