H. William Kaelin, Jr.

H. William Kaelin, Jr., 79, of Dagsboro, DE, and formerly of Lansdale, died Friday, April 24, 2026.  He was the beloved husband of Kathleen (Herman) Kaelin.

Born December 14, 1946 in Lansdale, he was the son of the late Henry and Alberta (Beer) Kaelin.

Mr. Kaelin was employed in the insurance industry for many years.  Earlier in life, he was a member of the SCCA, a racing organization, and loved riding his motorcycle.

Bill was a history buff who especially loved the Civil War and Gettysburg.  He also loved Doo-wop music, trivia, gardening, and caring for his pets.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Diane Christine Kaelin of Saylorsburg, PA; two grandchildren, Shawn Gallagher and Nicole Gallagher; three great-grandchildren, Michael Gallagher, Mandy Chieffo, and Leada Drabic; and his sister, Beverly Kaelin of Hatfield.

He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Christina and Amanda.

Relatives and friends may call after 12:30 p.m. Friday, May 1, 2026 at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale, followed by the Funeral Service at 1:30 p.m.  Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in Bill's memory to Tunnel To Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10306.
