Harry A. Bauer, 81, husband of Patricia L. (nee Clymer) Bauer, of Warrington passed away on May 9, 2016 at Manorcare Health Services-Montgomeryville in Montgomeryville, PA. Born on June 20, 1934 in Ambler, PA , he was the son of the late Russell and Ruth (nee Duttlinger) Bauer.
He had been employed for 42 years by the Stroehmann Bread Company prior to his retirement, and he loved dogs, fishing, and spending summers at his cottage on Opinicon Lake in Ontario, Canada, where he had many great friends.
Harry is also survived by his children; Harry Bauer, Jr., of Harleysville, Dottie Destefano, of Lansdale, Cindy Emerick, of Union Bridge, MD, Keith Bauer, of Telford, Penny Davis, of West Monroe, LA, Duane Bauer, of Baton Rouge, LA, George Carr, of Fayetteville, NC, Fred Carr, of Roslyn, and Ned Bauer, of Lansdale, and his 21 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Thursday, May 26, 2016, from 4:00-5:00 PM at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 211 S. Main Street, North Wales, PA, 19454, where a celebration of his life service will be held at 5:00 PM, followed by a reception afterwards in the church hall.
