Helen F. Detwiler

Helen F. Detwiler, 87, of Zieglerville, passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2025.  She was the loving wife of the late Donald T. Detwiler.

Born August 17, 1938 in Abington, she was a daughter to the late John and Charlotte (Boucher) Felver.

Helen was known for her zest with life, always cheering the loudest for the Philadelphia Flyers and the Dallas Cowboys.  She embodied the spirit of a truly dedicated fan.  Her love of sports was matched only by her love for a cold beer, while cheering on her teams with friends and family.

Rest in peace, dear Helen, you will always be our MVP!

Helen is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Kober (Jeff) of East Greenville; her granddaughter, Megan Rymdeko; great-granddaughter, Aria Rymdeko; her sister, Susan Francis; her two nieces, Cheri Shanks and Tara Yothers.

Relatives and friends may call between 10:00 and 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Avenue, Lansdale, PA 19446 followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will be in the Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Ambler, PA.

The family requests that friends and family wear the colors of the Philadelphia Flyers or the Dallas Cowboys for the viewing.
