Ida F. McCormick

Ida F. McCormick passed away peacefully in her sleep after 83 amazing years of life.

Born on August 23, 1943, to Henry and Charlotte (Williams) Felice in Philadelphia. She was the wife of the late Gerald R. McCormick.

Ida had a passion for the shore, the ocean and its breeze, the life and laughter that came from live music and dancing in North Wildwood. She is survived by a sea of family and friends who brought so much joy to her life. Decades of friendship’s filled her soul. She will be remembered and celebrated in all our hearts every time we hear the ocean or get up and dance.

Ida is survived by her two loving children, Scott McCormick and his wife, Jennifer, and Shannon Drosnock and her husband, Nick. She is also survived by three amazing grandchildren, Mitchell, Megan, and Sean, and one light-up-the-room great granddaughter, Meadow.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2026 from 10-11 AM with a memorial service to follow at 11 AM at Huff and Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale, PA. Family and friends are welcome to a luncheon at the William Penn Inn following the service.
