Ingrid E. Westphal

Ingrid E. Westphal, 76, of Lansdale, PA peacefully passed away on Monday, February 23, 2026 to be with her Lord and Savior.

Born June 25, 1949 in Germantown, Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Otto and Gertrude (Gegenbach) Westphal.

Ingrid later moved to Hatboro where she graduated from Hatboro High School in 1968.  She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Warminster, and was employed as a retail sales associate at John Wanamaker's, Macy's, and Sears department stores.

Ingrid enjoyed her trips in the United States to Cape Cod, Florida, California, and Hawaii.  Her foreign travels included trips to Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Mexico.  She also went to Bermuda and on a Caribbean cruise. Her summer vacations were spent at Cape May, NJ.

Her hobbies included crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, needlepoint, making hook rugs, reading, watching movies, and decorating for all the holidays.  She also loved family gatherings and will be remembered for her jolly laugh.

Survivors include her brother, Norman (Marilyn); cousin, Heidi (Dick); her cousin-in-law, Donna (Rich); and her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her cousins, Werner and Margaret; best friend, Pat; and her beloved cats, Taffy and Candy.

Funeral arrangements are private and under the direction of the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
