Irene E. Bookheimer

Irene E. Bookheimer, 75, of Lansdale, died Tuesday, May 27, 2025.  She was the wife of the late Dale W. Bookheimer, who died July 5, 2011.

Born September 26, 1949 in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Lamping) Fowler.

Mrs. Bookheimer was a longtime member of Immanuel Church, Lansdale, and was employed with Matheson Tri-Gas, Montgomeryville.  Irene enjoyed music and was an animal lover.

Survivors include her sons, Edward W. Bookheimer (Crista) of Lansdale, David W. Bookheimer (Christine) of Telford, Carl W. Bookheimer (late Angela Carleone) of North Wales, and George A. Bookheimer (Amy Longaker) of North Wales; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and her brother, John Fowler (Dori) of Harlyesville.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Katherine Kozlowski.

Relatives and friends may call after 12:30 p.m. Sunday, June 1, 2025 at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale, followed by the Funeral Service at 1:30 p.m.  Burial will be private in Hillside Cemetery, Roslyn.
