James S. Beck

James S. Beck, 83, of Perkasie, died Wednesday, February 11, 2026.  He was the beloved husband of the late Sally Ann (Dodson) Beck, who died September 10, 2015.

Born February 10, 1943 in Doylestown, he was the son of the late Stephen and Eleanore (Deppe) Beck.

Mr. Beck was a proud veteran of the United States Army and longtime member of Old Goshenhoppen Reformed Church, Woxall.  He worked as a mechanic at his family's business, Steve's Auto in Doylestown, for many years.

Jim's hobbies included hunting and spending time at Lake Wallenpaupack.

Survivors include his sister-in-law, Diane Long (Terry) of Souderton; Robin Frederick (Gary) of Utah, whom he cared for as a daughter, and her brother, Thom Wolfinger of Philadelphia; his niece and nephew, Amanda Jones (Ed) of East Greenville, and Andrew Long (Kate) of Telford; and three great-nieces and nephews, Ayden, Sadie, and A.J.

Relatives and friends may call after 10:00 a.m. April 11, 2026 at Old Goshenhoppen Reformed Church, 2092 Church Road, Harleysville, followed by the Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m.  Burial will be in the adjacent cemetery.  Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
