James R. Friling, 84, of Lansdale, died Thursday, April 16, 2026.
Born September 14, 1941 in Quakertown, he was the son of the late James Walter and Verna (Wambold) Friling.
Mr. Friling was employed as a mailman with the US Postal Service for many years. He was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps and was a longtime member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, North Wales.
Survivors include his children, Melissa Friling (Ken Halpin) of Quakertown, and Jamie Friling (Marla) of Gladwyne; his beloved life partner, Nancy Zeigler of Lansdale and her children, Andrea Holt and Mark Donohue, both of North Wales; five grandchildren, Christian, Vienna, Brittany, Ashley, and Mark; and many great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 24, 2026 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 211 South Main St., North Wales, followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be private in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown. Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in Jim's memory to the Living Branches Foundation, 275 Dock Drive, Lansdale, PA 19446.
