James W. Hutchinson

James W. Hutchinson, 79, of Hatfield, died Wednesday, April 1, 2026.  He was the loving husband of Karen L. (Slook) Hutchinson.

Born January 4, 1947 in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late William J. and Mildred (Leidy) Hutchinson.

James loved tinkering with cars.  His passion for cars wasn't just a hobby, but it was also a way of life.  He also had a deep appreciation for warm weather, often saying that nothing beat the feeling of the sun.  Above all he will be remembered for his warmth and care for his family and friends.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Todd James Hutchinson (Valerie) of Philadelphia, Brian Arthur Hutchinson (Amy) of Philadelphia, Timothy Scott Hutchinson of Souderton; his grandchildren, Luna, Alexi, Evie, Avalynn, Jonah, and Lillian.

He is predeceased by his brothers, William Terrance Hutchinson and Thomas Charles Hutchinson.

Relatives and friends may call between 2:00 and 3:00 p.m. Friday, April 10, 2026 at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Avenue, Lansdale, PA 19446, followed by the memorial service at 3:00 p.m.
