Jane N. Powers

Jane N. Powers, 98, of Lansdale, PA, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Dock Woods Living Community.

She was the loving wife of the late Roger J. Powers.

Born January 3, 1926, she was a daughter of Harry and Eleanor (O'Holloran) Rupprecht.

As a well-accomplished teacher, Jane had a passion for passing down the knowledge she acquired throughout her life to the younger generations.  When away from the classroom, she enjoyed cooking delicious food for family and friends, and world travel.  A lover of the sea, Jane always took pleasure in traveling the world on cruise ships, and she spent almost 800 days in total at sea.

Jane will be remembered as a caring, compassionate wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her two sons, Richard W. Powers, and wife Sandra, and Roger E. Powers, and wife Susan; and her three grandchildren, Christopher, Caroline, and Catherine.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her two sisters, Margaret and Eda.

Services will take place at Dock Woods Community Chapel at a date to be announced.

Arrangements are entrusted to Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
