Janet A. Arnold

Janet A. Arnold, 83, of Lansdale, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 4, 2025.

She was the loving wife of the late Edward P. Arnold, who passed away in 1997.

Born May 14, 1942, she was the daughter of Ralph T. Weber and Frances (Cassidy) Huston.  Janet was a 1960 graduate of Lansdale Catholic High School.

Janet cherished the time spent with family and friends. She especially loved gatherings with her extended family, dinners and card games with girlfriends, and nights out to eat and laugh and dance. She adored her granddaughters and treasured every moment spent cheering them on at games or simply enjoying their company.

Her home in Lansdale was her haven, and she loved time spent outside working in her gardens and flower beds, mowing the lawn, relaxing by the pool, or enjoying time on her back porch with neighbors.

An animal lover, Janet shared her life with several beloved dogs and cats over the years.

She also loved to get away, enjoying memorable trips to London, Ireland, the beach, the lake, and through New England. In her later years, she was fortunate to spend time enjoying her hobbies and traveling with family and her partner, Greg Bailey.

Janet was a proud and passionate Philadelphia Eagles fan. Her devotion to the team was legendary—she never missed a game and loved attending training camp to watch them practice.

She is survived by her son, Douglas Arnold and his wife, Joanna; her two granddaughters, Julia and Madeline; her brother, Richard Weber; her two sisters, Mary Kiely and Barbara Hendrickson; and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

The family will receive visitors Wednesday, August 13, 2025, 9:00 to 10:00 AM at St Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church, 51 Lansdale Ave, Lansdale, PA 19446. A memorial mass will begin at 10:00 AM.

Interment will take place at St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont.

Arrangements are entrusted to Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made in Janet's memory to Artman Lutheran Home, an organization that provided her with excellent care and comfort.
