Janet Louise Blake

Janet Louise Blake, 91, a lifelong resident of Lansdale, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2026.  She was the beloved wife of the late Horace R. Blake, who died in 1997.

Born July 14, 1934 in Lansdale, she was a daughter of the late Hobart and Anna Belle (Rosenberger) Bergey.

Mrs. Blake was a member of First Baptist Church, Lansdale.  In her free time, she loved playing cards and various games.  Above all else, she will be remembered for her unfailing dedication and love to her family.

She lovingly leaves behind her children, Bonnie L. Daneker (James) of Hatfield, Penny S. Bruno (Charles) of Lansdale, Sandra L. Scatton of Hatfield, Thomas J. Blake of Lansdale, and Robert A. Blake (Cheryl) of Harleysville; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jenna L. Daneker; brother, Richard H. Bergey; and sister, Doris L. Cathers.

Relatives and friends may call between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale,  A second viewing will begin 9:30 a.m. Thursday, March 5 at the funeral home followed by the Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m.  Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
