Janet Shinar

Janet Shinar, 68, of Lansdale, PA, passed away Monday, September 29, 2025, at Traditions of Lansdale.

She was the loving wife of the late Patrick Shinar.

Born May 6, 1957, she was a daughter of the late Charlie and Jane Woo.

Janet enjoyed spending her time reading cooking magazines and saving recipes for later.  She loved a good crossword puzzle and was always at the ready with a fist bump and a compliment or kind word.  We will miss her sense of humor and her quick one liners.

What brough Janet the most joy in life was her family.  She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

She is survived by her son, David Boewer (Leah); her grandchildren, Kali and Max; her sister Sandra; and her brother Jim.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her son Harris.

Interment will take place Saturday, October 18, 10:00 AM, at Greenlawn Cemetery, Lansdale,
