Janice Hammond

Janice Hammond, 83, of Lansdale, PA, passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Brittany Point Estates.

She was the loving wife of Carl F. Hammond for 47 years.

Born September 9, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Salvatore and Evelyn (Witt) Cangelosi.

Throughout her life, Janice enjoyed travelling all over the world.  She enjoyed gardening and bird watching.  In her leisure time, she could often be found reading a good book with her feline companion, who brought Janice unconditional love and joy.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her six children; her nine grandchildren; her ten great-grandchildren; and her sister.

She is preceded in death by her daughter.

The family will receive visitors Tuesday, December 9, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Avenue, Lansdale, PA, 19446.  A funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Providence Animal Center, 555 Sandy Bank Rd, Media, PA 19063.
