Jason Robert Cassel

REVISED OBITUARY AS OF JANUARY 29, 2025

Jason Robert Cassel, 44, most recently of Lakeville, MN, was united with his Lord on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at the University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN.

Born May 31, 1980, in Lansdale, PA, he was the son of Gary L. and Cheryl A. Cassel of Souderton, PA.

He was a 1998 graduate of North Penn High School.  Jason earned a bachelor's degree in English from Pennsylvania State University in 2002. After graduation, Jason pursued his real estate career in the family business of Cassel-Miller Real Estate in Lansdale, PA.  Jason then relocated to Minnesota to continue his real estate career with BHHS North Properties in Apple Valley, MN, and REI Property Management in Bloomington, MN.  He was an active participant in the St. Paul Association of REALTORS, being a member of their Board of Directors, Chairman of their Professional Standards Committee, and their Young Professionals Network.

Jason was an avid sports fan and favored all the Philadelphia sports teams, in particular the Flyers and Eagles, as well as Penn State football.

Surviving are his sons Maxwell James and Harvey Wayne, and his daughter Virginia Rose, all of Apple Valley, MN, whom he adored, and his sisters, Julie Anne Cassel-Ball (Charles, Jr.) of Harleysville, PA and Jenna Lynne Gerlich (Garret), of Lansdale, PA.

Family will receive friends from 10:00-12:00 PM on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at Central Schwenkfelder Church, 2111 S. Valley Forge Road, Lansdale, PA, 19446, where the public memorial service will begin at 12:00 PM.  Burial to follow in the adjoining cemetery. A light luncheon will follow at the Church.
