Jean Fisher, 91, of Lansdale, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2025.
Born on May 14, 1933, in Philadelphia, she was the beloved daughter of the late Frank and Sarah (Simons) Fisher.
Jean dedicated most of her adult working life to the insurance business, where she was known for her diligence and commitment. Beyond her professional life, Jean had a rich tapestry of interests and hobbies that brought joy and fulfillment. She had a passion for baking, gardening, reading, and crafting. Jean was also an avid fan of Philadelphia sports, and despite not being a golfer herself, showed great enthusiasm for watching tournaments on television.
Above all, Jean took great interest in family. She enjoyed sharing stories of her early years on the family farm, memories of domestic and overseas travel, and experiences volunteering at the veteran's hospital. Jean developed many friendships in all decades of her life and was known affectionately by many, related or not, as "Aunt Jean", a true one-of-a-kind. In more recent years, she formed special friendships with her neighbors at Schwenkfeld Terrace.
Jean's memory will be cherished by many. Her survivors are nephews Stephen Cunningham (Susan) of Souderton, Kenneth Earle (Cindy) of Richboro, Frank Fisher (Betsy) of Florida, and Robert Fisher (Gail) of Florida, a sister, Myra Kazimiroff of North Carolina and a niece, Jennifer Baxter (John). She was predeceased by brother Frank Fisher (Jane), sisters, Alva Earle (Al), Mary Cunningham, and niece Jane Brusca (Don). Jean had many great-nieces and nephews, and was especially close with Meghan, Carter, Lindsey, and Amanda.
